IDENTITY :: HISTORY

MAGAPOR is a Spanish company dedicated to the manufacture and distribution of materials and technology for Artificial Insemination in cattle.

Since the day it was created, the main commitment of our company has been the research and development of new products and systems that satisfy the needs of a sector which advances technologically at a quick pace.

MAGAPOR was established 20 years ago in Ejea de los Caballeros (Saragosse), beginning as a hard and daring enterprise for their founders because of the strong barriers that were to overcome at the time:

- Technology in a developing phase, little known and implemented in the sector.
- Very new techniques hardly field-tested.
- Scarce or no training of potential clients.

To counteract this situation, the company invested in R+D and the instruction of our clients, which has produced excellent results.

For us, R+D means improving, moving forwards, a feeling of restlessness and non-conformism, knowledge and enhancement. The team of professionals and experts of our company works day-to-day with this determination.

Till 1993 all commercial efforts of the company were focused in the regions of Aragon and Navarra and afterwards extended to the rest of Spain. From then onwards, the company started its international advance.

1995 was the year of establishment of MAGAPOR Portugal, 1996 of MAGAPOR Hungary, 1997 of MAGAPOR Mexico and 2000 of MAGAPOR Italia.

The spirit of entrepreneurship of the company led to the achievement of important objectives at a national level as becoming part of the reduced group of Spanish firms that sell in China or exporting our products to more than 26 countries all over the world. This spirit is shared by our young, dynamic and non-conformist staff.

Our drive to open new markets lays behind our special care in the service to our clients and the best way to do this for us is to maintain a strong logistics structure adapted to their needs: quality and commitment in the delivery of more than 3000 orders each year, strong compromise with our national suppliers and arranged quality with the international ones, stock management in our warehouses: traditional, with temperature and humidity control, and cold, a formula that allows us to reach this maximal satisfaction.

The peculiarity of our products and services implied a development of systems for logistics organisation that should adapt to their technical characteristics and our client’s demands: make-to-order production, make-to-stock production, manufacturing of perishable goods and storage under determined ambient conditions, transport of live organic materials for analysis, validations, etc.
